Position Summary

As a Senior Cloud Services Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving customer intimacy and growth by understanding our clients’ businesses, industries, value propositions, and success requirements. You’ll leverage your expertise in gathering client requirements, working with technical teams on proposing solutions, and designing FedRAMP compliant cloud infrastructure. What You'll Do
  • Lead large-scale cloud engagements for greenfield and brownfield deployments.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and project management to serve as the “point person” for engagement teams.
  • Participate in designing and operating compliance monitoring activities to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations.
  • Contribute to cloud program management, service delivery, and strategy planning.
  • Develop and review reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
  • Mentor and coach staff to grow their technical and consulting skills.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Identify engagement and client service issues based on industry trends; communicate findings effectively.
  • Work with engagement managers to co-lead and own parts of the engagement delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality client services within expected timeframes and budgets.
  • Develop client cloud and security strategies, architectures, and roadmaps.
  • Review cloud configurations and security practices with clients.
  • Translate client requirements into architectures for engineering teams.
  • Advise on AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud provider technologies.
  • Support business development activities such as opportunity identification and relationship building.

This fully remote position offers flexible work arrangements, emphasizing effective communication, collaboration, and work-life balance, with travel expected at 10-20%.

What You'll Bring
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • 6+ years of experience in security systems engineering and architecture.
  • 5+ years supporting cloud architecture, design, and operations in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platform capabilities and services.
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to balance security and mission needs.
  • BS or higher in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points
  • Experience supporting clients in professional services.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, CISA.
  • Knowledge of configuration standards like CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG.
  • Experience with cloud networking (Palo Alto, Cisco, VPC peering, Transit Gateway).
  • Proficiency with Visio, Jira, MS Project.
  • Understanding of encryption technologies (TLS/SSL, PKI).
  • Architecture or Security Architect certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect).
