Proxima Group is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead complex BPO sourcing and advisory workstreams within Professional Services, managing senior stakeholders and mentoring junior consultants.

You will work with client-facing teams to deliver high-impact outcomes, shaping strategy, market assessments, and negotiations, while applying automation and digital transformation insights to outsourcing programs.

Qualifications

• Senior consultant with deep BPO market experience.
• Experience advising on outsourcing strategies and transactions.
• Hands-on in BPO sourcing lifecycle from strategy to transitions.

Senior Consultant – BPO Sourcing & Advisory

The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant at Proxima, you will lead complex Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) workstreams within our Professional Services category and manage senior stakeholders while delivering innovative solutions and mentoring junior consultants. You will be part of client-facing teams delivering high-impact commercial and supplier initiatives, supporting the development of insights, contributing to solution design, and playing an active role in delivering outcomes, not just recommendations.

This is a subject matter expert role for professionals with deep BPO market experience who want to apply that expertise in a consulting environment. You will help large corporate clients evaluate, source, negotiate, optimize, and transform complex outsourced service arrangements.

You may have worked for a leading BPO service provider, advised clients on outsourcing strategies and transactions, or managed significant outsourced service relationships within a large organization. You will bring a strong understanding of the provider landscape, commercial models, BPO economics, contracting structures, and how automation, AI, and digital transformation are reshaping the market.

This is not a passive learning role. At Proxima, we are practitioner-consultants. You will build experience quickly, take responsibility early, and work alongside clients to deliver real, measurable change.

What you'll do

Lead client engagements across BPO sourcing and advisory, bringing deep market expertise and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, HR, Operations, Technology, and business leadership.

Apply deep knowledge of the BPO marketplace, including major service providers, service offerings, commercial models, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

Support clients across the BPO sourcing lifecycle, including strategy development, market assessments, provider selection, RFPs, commercial evaluation, negotiations, and transitions.

Assess existing BPO arrangements and identify opportunities for cost optimization, service improvement, transformation, and renegotiation.

Apply your expertise across outsourced business functions such as Finance & Accounting, HR, Procurement, Customer Operations, and other back-office services.

Leverage your understanding of BPO contract structures, pricing models, SLAs, performance management, and governance to support commercial analysis and negotiations.

Help clients understand how automation, AI, and digital transformation are changing BPO delivery models, pricing, and sourcing strategies.

What you bring

Deep knowledge of the BPO marketplace, including major providers, service offerings, commercial models, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

Experience working for a BPO service provider, advising organizations on BPO arrangements, or managing a significant BPO relationship from the client side.

Hands-on experience with the BPO sourcing lifecycle, including strategy development, market assessments, provider selection, RFPs, commercial evaluation, negotiations, and transitions.

Strong understanding of BPO contract structures, pricing models, SLAs, performance management, and governance.

Experience assessing existing BPO arrangements and identifying opportunities for cost optimization, service improvement, transformation, and renegotiation.

Familiarity with outsourced business functions such as:

Finance & Accounting

HR

Procurement

Customer Operations

Other back-office services

Understanding of how automation, AI, and digital transformation are changing BPO delivery models, pricing, and sourcing strategies.

Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data.
