Are you a seasoned airline professional with deep experience in flight operations and a passion for making a positive impact on the aviation industry? Join Jeppesen’s Intelligent Airline Consultancy, where you will leverage your operational expertise to help airlines unlock measurable business value through data-driven insights and AI-powered solutions. As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will work directly with airline clients to diagnose operational challenges, quantify improvement opportunities, and build compelling business cases that drive adoption of Jeppesen’s software products. When not client-facing, you will contribute to thought leadership, research, and new business development initiatives. Please note that while this role will focus mainly on Jeppesen products, it will be hired through ForeFlight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with airline clients to understand operational challenges and performance gaps, focusing on KPIs such as on-time performance, turnaround times, and CASM
  • Use Jeppesen’s proprietary AI data foundation and analytics tools to generate insights without burdening clients with data requests
  • Develop structured value engineering engagements that quantify business impact and build actionable roadmaps
  • Partner closely with data scientists to tackle complex analytical problems
  • Support new business development through research, white papers, and conference presentations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting tools, playbooks, and operational intelligence dashboards

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in airline flight operations or related roles with a strong understanding of airline KPIs and operational processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field
  • Demonstrated passion for aviation and a desire to drive industry-wide improvements
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and demonstrated experience in statistical analysis
  • Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time depending on client needs
  • Collaborative mindset with a customer-obsessed approach and curiosity to explore new ideas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexible location preferred in Denver, Colorado
  • Experience working directly with airline stakeholders
  • Previous experience with or strong understanding of Jeppesen products
  • Pilot or aviation enthusiast

This position is currently part of Boeing but is planned to transition to an independent company owned by Thoma Bravo, as part of a pending divestiture of the Digital Aviation Solutions organization. If you are selected for this role, your employment may initially be with Boeing (dependent on start date). Subject to final regulatory approvals and closing conditions, your employment may transfer to the divested business owned by Thoma Bravo at close. Additional details about this transition will be shared as they become available.
