The Accounting Advisory Services practice at CBIZ is seeking a Senior Consultant with 3+ years of experience in public accounting and industry roles such as senior accountant, accounting manager, or consultant. The role involves supporting our national practice by providing technical and operational accounting support, developing managerial and client service skills in a team-oriented environment. Essential Functions and Primary Duties

1. Review consultant work products and provide feedback.
2. Manage all aspects of engagements to ensure completion.
3. Conduct analysis and deliver solutions for clients.
4. Achieve revenue objectives.
5. Adhere to engagement budgets and complete tasks within allocated time.
6. Participate in business development activities, including networking and membership in professional organizations.
7. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Provide accounting advisory support, including implementation of new standards.
2. Perform outsourced senior accountant work.
3. Draft technical accounting memos on topics like revenue recognition, business combinations, lease accounting, etc.
4. Conduct industry and company research using online tools.
5. Assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures.
6. Support clients in closing their books monthly and annually.
7. Assist with audit readiness.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with team members and clients under deadlines.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with modeling.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• CPA certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

The annual salary range for this role is $85,000-$135,000, depending on experience and skills.
