HRP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geologist or Senior Environmental Scientist in Clifton Park, NY to lead multidisciplinary environmental projects and guide technical strategy.

You will manage investigations, oversee field programs, and deliver practical, innovative solutions to clients and regulators. The role blends technical expertise with project management and team leadership, requiring at least 5 years in environmental consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant environmental consulting or geological experience
• Strong technical background in site investigation, remediation, hydrogeology, or environmental compliance
• Proven project management including budgeting and client communication
• Willingness to travel for field assignments, with possible overnights of up to a week at a time
• Professional licensure (PG/LSRP/PE) is a plus
• GIT certification or ability to obtain within one year

Requirements:

• Proven project management experience, including budgeting and client communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff
• Familiarity with state and federal environmental regulations
• Willingness to travel for field assignments, with possible overnights of up to a week at a time
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to physically lift up to 40 pounds
• Professional licensure (PG, LSRP, PE, or similar) is a plus
• Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year
