Rimkus is seeking a Construction Expert in Salt Lake City to conduct thorough investigations of construction defects, review contracts, and prepare detailed reports. You will deliver expert testimony, develop defensible opinions, and collaborate with clients and legal teams in complex matters.

The role requires PE or GC licensure, a engineering-related bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and communication skills to manage multiple investigations and support litigation and insurance claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or construction management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or General Contractor (GC) license is required.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, including active or completed construction projects.
• Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and meticulously report findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.
• Develop and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions regarding construction defects.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
