Job summary

Apsida Life Science, partnering with a specialist pharmaceutical strategy consultancy, seeks a Senior Consultant for their growing New York team. This hands-on role offers real room to develop, with exposure to competitive strategy, brand and portfolio planning, and lifecycle management.

You'll support Directors and Principals on strategic engagements, lead primary work such as client interviews, synthesize insights, and produce client-ready deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years in pharma/biotech consulting.
• Strong qualitative analysis with clear insights.
• Confident communicator with effective PPT storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Support Directors and Principals on strategic engagements across various project types.
• Lead primary work such as KOL and client stakeholder interviews to build insights.
• Synthesize complex information into a clear, logical story and identify strategic implications for brand/portfolio.
• Produce client-ready deliverables (product analyses, market landscape assessments, forecasting models) that are visually compelling and easy to follow.
• Present findings and facilitate discussions in client meetings and workshops, in person or virtually.

Apsida is partnering with a specialist pharmaceutical strategy consultancy to add a Senior Consultant to their growing New York team.

Our client has spent well over a decade helping pharma and biotech companies work through their hardest strategic questions. They pair deep therapeutic expertise with a genuinely collaborative style, embedding alongside client teams across competitive strategy, brand and portfolio planning, and lifecycle management. After an extremely strong year, they're investing in their US presence and want a sharp, ambitious consultant to grow with them.

The role

This is a hands-on role with real room to develop. You'll:

• Support Directors and Principals on strategic engagements across the full range of project types, keeping delivery tight and on time
• Run secondary research and lead primary work such as KOL and client stakeholder interviews to build the insight behind each strategy
• Synthesize complex information into a clear, logical story and pull out the strategic implications for the client's brand or portfolio
• Produce client-ready deliverables (product analyses, market landscape assessments, opportunity assessments, forecasting models) that are visually compelling and easy to follow
• Present findings and facilitate discussions confidently in client meetings and workshops, both in person and virtually

What we're looking for

• 3 to 4+ years in, or consulting to, the pharma or biotech industry
• A solid grasp of the product lifecycle and the challenges facing pharma companies at each stage
• Strong qualitative analysis, with the ability to simplify complex material into clear insight
• Confident communicator who can build a clean PowerPoint narrative and hold the room across all levels of seniority
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once, and a genuine team player

• Based in New York City, office roughly two days a week, plus travel around project work
