Job summary
A leading construction company in Seattle is seeking a Superintendent II to coordinate and supervise construction activities. The candidate should have a degree in construction management or equivalent experience in managing complex projects. Responsibilities include planning project schedules, ensuring safety and compliance, and mentoring team members. Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience.
Minimum 8 years construction management or related experience.
Current driver’s license.
Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
Ability to interpret and communicate company policies.
Active listening skills and effective communication.
Ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities
Plan and implement to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability.
Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies.
Develop and manage project schedules.
Develop a site logistics plan and manage the utilization of tools and equipment.
Collaborate with project partner superintendents.
Conduct on-site project orientations and meetings.
Supervise project partners, craft foremen, and crews.
Coach and mentor assistant superintendents and craft team members.
Ensure proper task coding of work hours on timecards.
Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance.
