Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services, LLC is seeking a General Construction Superintendent for Healthcare and Higher Education projects in Detroit, MI. The role directs a team of superintendents to uphold safety, schedule, budget and quality while aligning with company standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating trades, managing budgets, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with contract documents. Healthcare/Higher Ed experience and OSHA 30 are preferred for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years on a $15-50+ million commercial/industrial project as a superintendent in a large program.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Healthcare and/or higher education project experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and sub-contractors to meet the approved schedule.
• Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develop and communicate field work plans for changes and risks.
• Maintain project documents and contract knowledge to anticipate issues.
• Verify permits with subcontractors and enforce safety policies.
• Lead safety inspections and enforce the project safety plan.
