Job summary

Headquartered in Napa, CA, with projects nationwide and internationally, the company seeks a seasoned Superintendent to oversee all phases of construction projects and ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of industry related experience in residential utilities, electrical distribution, and civil works.
• Ability to read and interpret general and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA/EM-385 requirements and safe working practices.
• Ability to work with customers to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Primavera scheduling desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with project managers and engineers for day-to-day construction activities.
• Review contract documents to understand details, notes, and requirements.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure adherence to safety programs and company standards.
• Provide guidance to resolve construction problems encountered.
• Lead and develop Nova field staff, including performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with ethics and safety requirements on site.
• Manage scheduling, delivery, logistics, and staffing levels across trades.
• Coordinate with owner’s representatives and inspectors.
