Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Senior Site Safety Manager to support our Renewable Energy division on complex construction projects. You will develop site-specific safety plans, ensure compliance with NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI standards, and provide senior-level EHS leadership across project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.

This role emphasizes incident prevention, weekly safety reporting, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement, with per diem support for candidates living 100+

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction certification is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience in construction.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in renewable energy construction (solar, battery storage, wind, or similar projects).
• CPR/First Aid certification required (trainer preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI).
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Safety Plan and Safety Roadmap.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Lead incident and injury investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports, including Total Case Incident Reports.
• Conduct jobsite safety audits and monitor subcontractor compliance.
• Support and participate in weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist with safety training and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
• Collaborate with project leadership and field staff to identify and address safety risks.
• Provide senior-level EHS leadership and mentorship to site teams and field personnel.
• Support renewable energy construction activities including solar, battery storage, and wind projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety performance and compliance.

This role provides senior-level leadership for safety initiatives, monitors jobsite conditions, leads incident prevention efforts, and works closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel to promote a safe and incident-free work environment across complex construction and renewable energy projects.

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Successfully completed OSHA 30 Construction certification
• Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience in construction
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in renewable energy construction (solar, battery storage, wind, or similar projects)
• CPR/First Aid certification required (trainer preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI)
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

In addition, candidates must possess at least two of the following:

• Current CHST certification
• Current CSP certification
• EHS-related degree from an accredited institution
• 10 years of experience as an EHS Supervisor or Manager
