Job summary

ERM is seeking a Construction Site Manager in Louisiana to oversee battery storage project construction. This full-time, 12-month role covers safety, scheduling, and on-site coordination with owners, contractors, and field staff.

The candidate will manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and report weekly status to the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Construction Manager.
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar plus BESS projects.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Procore.
• Experience leading project teams and managing subcontracts.
• Ability to coordinate with owners, contractors, and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Owner personnel on-site including safety and QA personnel.
• Manage on-site construction activities to meet schedule and contract requirements.
• Supervise and mentor site managers; provide leadership.
• Monitor productivity and schedule performance; take action to meet budget and schedule.
• Lead schedule recovery plans and coordinate walkdowns and punch-list closeouts.
• Support landowner/public relations and daily field coordination meetings.
• Report weekly schedule status to the Owner's Project Manager.
• Ensure timely tracking information for cost and schedule changes.
