Job summary

PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support construction activity across Los Angeles area campuses.

You will oversee contractor safety performance, monitor regulatory compliance, and help maintain safe working environments across multiple projects. Responsibilities include leading toolbox talks, reviewing safety plans, and ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations while coordinating with Owners, project teams, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Must hold active safety certifications (SMS/CHST/CSMC) and be able to verify documents with resume.
• Experience managing safety on OCIP programs across multiple sites is required.
• Strong communication with senior management and field teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activity and report contractor safety compliance for multiple sites.
• Monitor OSHA requirements specific to each project.
• Lead safety toolbox talks and review upcoming construction schedules for hazard prep.
• Attend meetings with project team and general contractor to discuss safety.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly safety reports and observations.
