Job summary

HazTek Safety Management in Clay, NY seeks an experienced Senior Construction Safety Manager to lead field safety on a complex project. You will anticipate hazards, set clear expectations, and work with project leadership and subcontractors to maintain a safe, accountable jobsite.

Semiconductor or data center construction experience is strongly preferred; candidates with extensive general contractor safety backgrounds will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Extensive construction safety experience with senior-level responsibility.
• Experience supporting a general contractor and coordinating safety across trades.
• Semiconductor or data center construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and hazard prevention.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety leadership across construction activities and subcontractors.
• Partner with project managers and contractor leadership to embed safety in work planning.
• Identify hazards and ensure effective controls before activities begin.
• Review JHAs, pre-task plans, and procedures for compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits; communicate findings and corrective actions.
