Kokosing is seeking a Safety and Health professional to support the Shippingport, PA project. You will implement policies, train teams, and drive continual safety improvements on site.

Requirements include a Bachelor degree in Safety and Health and 6+ years in construction safety, with OSHA 30/10 and CSP/CHST preferred. Strong communication and the ability to lead across teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 6+ years of safety/health experience in construction preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide training on safety and health requirements to personnel.
• Support pre-job safety planning and emergency response development.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs for effective policy communication.
• Perform safety audits, evaluations, inspections and follow-up actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and document findings.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and vendors.
• Interface with federal/state authorities when needed.
