Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects and managing stakeholders across architects, engineers, and supply chains.

The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office. On-site presence is required, with flexibility based on client needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–7+ years of project management experience on large-scale projects.
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills and effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Procore and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
  • Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
  • Verify effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
  • Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
  • Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to apply design standards correctly.
  • Manage interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Communicate project information through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Forecast and update key project milestones.
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, GCs and regional stakeholders.
  • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
  • Provide cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
  • Independently review status reports, drawings, timelines and costs.
  • Develop relationships with Clients to maximize new opportunities.
  • Provide strategic advice to achieve client and business objectives.
  • Capture key learnings from each project and identify process improvements.

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required.
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are applied correctly.
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Forecast and update key project milestones.
  • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
  • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives.
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project are captured.
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong organizational and management skills – the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
