Job summary

Elmington Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Nashville to lead projects from startup through closeout with a focus on safety, schedule adherence, and budget control.

The role requires coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal clients to deliver high-quality results while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with policies and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction-related field preferred, but not required with high experience.
• Minimum of 10 years related construction experience in similar roles.
• Proven track record as a team player and effective manager.

Responsibilities

• Leads and models safety as a core guiding principle.
• Manages project startup, including obtaining permits and licenses.
• Analyzes and scopes subcontractor/vendor bids.
• Manages and oversees RFIs and submittals.
• Leads development and updates of overall project schedule.
• Prioritizes materials delivery per schedule.
• Co-leads subcontractor schedule coordination with superintendent.
• Manages COs and CO logs for subcontractors and Owner COs.
• Creates accurate financial projections and helps maximize profits while mitigating risks.
• Mentors and trains others and collaborates with design teams, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal clients.
