The Senior Project Manager provides project management experience to designated projects and assignments for a particular client account through interaction with the client, property or facility management team, and project management staff. Monitors and coordinates the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvement consulting services. In this role, you may be required to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish profitability goals and strategies to achieve them; manage and control internal costs to ensure profitability.
  • Manage and administer owner contracts, ensure risks are properly identified and managed daily.
  • Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews at all project phases including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction phases.
  • Participate in marketing efforts and group sales planning strategies for new business development. Leverage relationships to identify opportunities. Assist in pursuit efforts, including presentations.
  • Oversee setup and administration of all business plans, estimate adjustments, cost control, and reporting.
  • Chair and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and develop project budgets and timelines to meet objectives and client needs.
  • Assist with pre-qualification for bidders, develop and solicit responses to RFPs/RFQs, and help select project delivery methods.
  • Oversee change management; assist owners with design changes, review change orders, and ensure all are properly reviewed before approval.
  • Participate in marketing and presenting services to clients.
  • Review requisitions, change orders, and invoices, advising owners accordingly.
  • Report major problems and findings to the owner with recommendations.
  • Manage projects through to closeout, ensuring schedules and milestones are met, and project documentation is accurate and timely.
  • Assist with cost estimates and ensure estimates are stage-appropriate.
  • Oversee assistant project managers and participate in training.
  • Prepare and review monthly reports and cost projections, ensuring invoice accuracy.
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
  • 10-15 years of project management experience in large, complex facilities, including on-site management of new construction and renovations.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and procurement principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, PlanGrid, Revit, VICO, or similar.
Certifications and Memberships:
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • AGC/ABC membership
  • LEED AP
  • OSHA 30 Hour
  • Valid Driver's License required
Physical Demands and Environment:

Work is mainly in indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to weather and travel. Physical ability to work in an office, stand or sit for prolonged periods, and perform physical activities related to construction sites is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

Vision and Hearing: Normal visual and audio range with or without correction.
