Description

The Senior Project Manager provides project management experience to designated projects and assignments for a particular client account through interaction with the client, property or facility management team, and project management staff. Monitors and coordinates the execution of the various services and processes relating to client contracted agreements for project management and tenant improvement consulting services. In this role, you may be required to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish profitability goals and strategies to achieve them; manage and control internal costs to ensure profitability.
  2. Manage and administer owner contracts, ensure risks are properly identified and managed daily.
  3. Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawings reviews for all project phases.
  4. Participate in marketing efforts and sales planning for new business development; leverage relationships to identify opportunities.
  5. Oversee setup and administration of business plans, estimate adjustments, and reporting.
  6. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain project budgets and timelines.
  7. Assist with pre-qualification, develop RFPs/RFQs, and help select project delivery methods.
  8. Oversee change management, review change orders, and assist with design changes.
  9. Participate in marketing and presentation of services to clients.
  10. Review invoices, requisitions, change orders, and advise clients.
  11. Report major issues and findings to the owner with recommendations.
  12. Manage projects through to close-out, tracking schedules, submittals, and documentation.
  13. Assist with cost estimates and review for accuracy.
  14. Oversee and train assistant project managers and other staff.
  15. Prepare and review monthly reports and invoices.
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
Preferred Experience
  • 10-15 years of extensive project management experience in large, complex facilities.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, procurement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software such as Suretrak, Project, P6, Revit, etc.
Certifications, Memberships, and Licenses
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Membership in relevant associations (e.g., AGC/ABC)
  • LEED AP
  • OSHA 30 Hour
