Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of assigned projects. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while enhancing client relationships and the company image.

The ideal candidate will manage design-build projects across commercial, industrial, and government sectors with an emphasis on ensuring quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Design-build experience across commercial and industrial projects, including warehouse/distribution, cold storage, and manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate the overall management of assigned projects to ensure safety, on schedule, within budget and meeting profit goals.
• Review contract documents for conflicts and interpretation issues to mitigate risk and ensure design/constructability.
• Maintain proper document control and close-out documentation.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to manage budget, schedule, safety standards and QA/QC.
• Develop and monitor a detailed master project schedule and provide timely reports on project status and budget.
• Lead or participate in responses to RFPs and site investigations.
