Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Construction Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with an extensive background in managing complex construction projects from conception to completion, with a strong understanding and appreciation for the integration of smart technologies and heavy access control systems knowledge. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a deep knowledge of construction best practices, and the ability to effectively manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Management: Oversee all aspects of large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including internal staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Smart Technology Integration: Collaborate closely with SKBM's technology teams to ensure seamless integration of smart building systems, IoT devices, and other advanced technologies into construction projects.
  • Identify potential challenges and develop innovative solutions related to smart technology implementation during construction.
  • Stay abreast of emerging smart technology trends and their applications in construction.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Approve invoices and manage payment schedules.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control and safety programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and clients.
  • Resolve conflicts and address concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to plans.
  • Oversee the efficient use of resources and equipment on site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with integrated smart technologies (e.g., building automation systems, energy management systems, advanced security, intelligent lighting, low voltage systems, access control systems).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
