Senior Construction Project Manager (Anticipated Opening)

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in the design and construction management of public sector projects in Spokane. Experience with state, county, and local municipality projects, including Higher Education or K-12 school districts, is a plus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of taking initiative and driving activities with limited oversight.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients and consultants throughout all project stages.
  • Manage project finances, including timely invoicing and monitoring financial status using appropriate systems.
  • Develop detailed project plans and monitor performance.
  • Oversee change control processes.
  • Facilitate communication between team and client via meetings and written updates.
  • Prepare project progress reports and budgets.
  • Ensure quality standards are met through effective quality control.
  • Contribute to proposals for new work or project variations.
  • Identify opportunities for improving project management procedures and templates.
  • Address quality, safety, health, and environmental issues with the relevant line managers.
  • Establish effective governance, processes, and systems for projects.
  • Provide strategic advice during project conception to achieve client objectives.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure project quality, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Work effectively within teams to deliver specific projects.
  • Identify business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Share key information and data appropriately.
Education / Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in design and construction management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture (Associate's degree acceptable with sufficient experience).
  • Experience with Alternative Delivery methods (PDB preferred).
  • Proven leadership in design and construction phases.
  • Proficiency with various PMIS software, MS Office, Adobe, Bluebeam.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., CCM, PMP, PE) is preferred.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and work stream managers.

The salary range for this full-time role is $110k-$140k per year. The range reflects base salary only and may vary based on experience and qualifications. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to adjust compensation accordingly.
