Senior Construction Project Manager - Federal Projects (Anticipated Opening)

Turner & Townsend Heery, a leader in project and program management for the public sector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee Federal construction projects with GSA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience monitoring construction projects for Federal clients, with accountability for project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.
2. Review work status, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
3. Assess contractors' requisitions, budgets, and change orders.
4. Review and analyze project schedules, cost reports, and documentation.
5. Prepare status reports and recommend fund releases.
6. Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications for completeness and compliance.
7. Coordinate with the Cost Advisory group for budget analysis.
8. Review legal and regulatory documentation, permits, and approvals.
9. Other duties as assigned, including SOX controls where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in federally funded construction projects, preferably with GSA projects exceeding $100 million.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and reading architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of construction practices, codes, and delivery methods.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Licensure as Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager preferred.
• Experience with JOC and/or DB projects is a plus.

Additional Information:
