Job description

Our client in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

• Project planning and revisions
• Negotiating prices with vendors and suppliers to ensure the most competitive quotes
• Hiring quality subcontractors
• Supervising the project and superintendents
• Reporting progress to superiors and clients

Essential Functions

• Lead and review all construction projects with the Executive management team.
• Work with the Vice President of Construction to organize and manage the Project Management department.
• Conduct periodic check-ins with onsite superintendents.
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific project requirements.
• Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short-term and long-term goals.
• Lead weekly meetings for ongoing and future projects.
• Create and run necessary Project Management training sessions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and third-party vendors.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Work with Executive management to assign projects to Project Management team members.
• Serve as the primary contact for project questions and issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• Experience with Jonas Premier, Procore, and Microsoft Office products.
• GC experience in commercial buildouts.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to react quickly to challenges.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills via email, phone, and face-to-face.
• Understanding of construction regulations.
