Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project located North Jersey. The PM will be responsible for full lifecycle project management, including planning, scheduling, quality control, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can manage day-to-day site operations and drive timely, high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform a full in-depth plan review and project takeoff

- Utilize Autodesk Build and internal systems for documentation and tracking

- Manage and maintain project schedules and bid leveling sheets

- Oversee all trade coordination, including scheduling and quality control

- Ensure subcontractor work meets Nexgen’s standards and project specifications

- Order and track project materials and equipment deliveries

- Confirm and oversee trade inspections and code compliance

- Maintain secure jobsite opening and closing procedures

- Complete detailed daily logs with relevant jobsite updates

- Review and approve subcontractor invoices per company protocol

- Lead and document weekly project meetings with trades and stakeholders

- Support ownership walkthroughs and contribute to project reporting

- Attend inspections and ensure trade and building signoffs are completed

- Participate in weekly company Zoom meetings and submit photo updates

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management

- Proficiency with Autodesk Build or similar construction management software

- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and site supervision

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Must be able to work in person at the jobsite

Additional Details

• Paid time off: 5 vacation days

• Project site closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays (Friday sundown through Saturday sundown)

• 60-day probationary period with performance evaluation
