Job summary

Greene Resources is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in Durham, NC to lead project teams in the construction of facilities, ensuring scope, quality, schedule, cost control, safety, and client satisfaction.

You will plan and control all resources, review proposals, manage contract finances, monitor costs and schedules, and lead QA/QC activities to ensure project success. The role is full-time with direct hire and a first-shift schedule.

Greene Resources is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic team! This position is responsible for leading project teams in the construction of projects, ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, safety, and customer satisfaction objectives are met. This individual will plan, organize, and control all resources (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project.

Job Description

• Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
• Manage the financial aspects of contracts.
• Monitor and report project cost and schedule performance; recommend corrective actions if needed.
• Ensure preparation of cost estimates, value engineering, constructability reviews, scope development, and project bidding procedures.
• Assist the Project Manager with problem of conflict resolution.
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required; prepare project reports for management, owners, or others.
• Manage the scope of work and contract documents.
• Identifies and resolves potential claims with subcontractors/suppliers.
• Leads project coordination meetings.
• Handle monthly reviews with the project team and submit the Monthly Project Review Form to the Vice President and Executive Vice President.
• Ensure adherence to insurance, safety, and labor relations regulations.
• Lead QA/QC implementation; monitor and ensure quality control.
• Other duties as assigned.
