Job Description

We’re hiring a senior project manager to manage high-end residential projects, working closely with the site superintendent to lead the build team. Our project managers are technical and design-savvy management professionals who can see the big picture and the tiniest detail. A successful candidate operates with integrity, professionalism, and diligence, maintaining critical relationships with clients, partners, and in-house teams. This position offers the opportunity to partner with superintendents to lead teams dedicated to quality and craftsmanship.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a senior project manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing project schedule, budget, resources, and documentation throughout the build lifecycle
  • Maintaining effective communication with team members, clients, owners, design partners, etc.
  • Being proactive and flexible in response to design changes, challenges, and opportunities
  • Participating in project estimating and pre-construction planning
  • Owning the build budget and related elements
  • Tracking and reporting on project financials
  • Performing value engineering and cost analysis
  • Developing and reviewing project schedules with the team
  • Managing subcontractors, including RFPs, bids, contracts, and safety compliance
  • Handling materials activities like submittals, change orders, and orders
  • Managing project documentation and permits
  • Reviewing shop drawings as needed
  • Overseeing project closeout and warranties
  • Conducting post-construction reviews
  • Participating in company growth and community engagement
  • Acting as liaison to Service Department when required
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in high-end residential construction
  • At least 5 years managing projects over $10 million
  • Relevant construction management degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel regionally and to Seattle for onboarding
  • Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings and specs
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • Technical knowledge and ingenuity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, BlueBeam, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with Slack, Asana, SmartSheet, Airtable is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Sage 300 CRE modules (training provided)
