Job summary

JHL Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead field and office teams on complex construction projects, managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and safety to drive project success.

You will coordinate subcontractors, interface with Owners, and oversee project documentation and closeout, with a Bachelor's in Construction Management and 5+ years of vertical construction experience. This is an on-site role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in the vertical construction industry as a Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer or Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Market JHL and procure future projects (RFP responses, estimates, interviews).
• Develop and review project cost estimates with pre-construction and interface with clients.
• Oversee the work of the Project Engineer, PM, APM and support Superintendent.
• Develop and maintain the project field budget and cost controls.
• Review schedule, budget, labor and equipment plans monthly with leadership.
• Manage subcontractor commitments and subcontracts with detailed scopes.
• Ensure quality control per contract documents and change orders.
• Coordinate procurement schedules with field and project team.
• Lead project setup including bonds/insurance/IT and admin services.
• Drive project financial management: pay apps, change management, forecasting, invoicing.
• Lead yearly performance evaluations and mentor team.
