Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks an experienced construction project manager to oversee the full lifecycle of multiple renovations and upgrades for commercial and industrial facilities in Mississippi. You will coordinate with clients and subcontractors to deliver on time and within contract scope.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to develop scopes, perform takeoffs, and manage bid and procurement processes with multi-trade teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in commercial/industrial construction with multi-trade subs.
• Experience with Job Order Contracting (JOC) preferred.
• Experience preparing lump-sum/fixed-price estimates from subcontractor proposals.
• Familiarity with unit price books (RS Means, Gordian) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of multiple projects—from concept to final completion.
• Develop scope of work, perform takeoffs, and prepare detailed estimates.
• Conduct site visits and document conditions for pricing.
• Lead client discussions to finalize scope and pricing.
• Coordinate bid processes with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Ensure close-out documentation incl. as-builts, permits, warranties, and O&M manuals.
• Maintain clear communication with client representatives to ensure expectations are met.
