Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a senior construction leader in Charlotte, NC to oversee contract administration, scheduling, procurement, and financial reporting on large-scale projects. The role requires directing teams, coordinating with owners and engineers, and ensuring permits and insurance coverages for subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of construction experience with a general contractor, plus a track record in leading project teams and managing complex project

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience required; working for a general contractor on large scale projects is highly preferred.
• DBIA and LEED Accreditation a plus
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams; strong decision-making and communication skills
• Understanding of strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
• Have thorough knowledge of the company’s contracts and understanding of all parties involved
• Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors
• Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity
• Lead, train, and develop project team members
• Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues
• Lead project close-out including turnover of manuals and warranties and final payment documents
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms
• Establish deadlines and monitor project progress
• Participate in proposals and presentations as requested
• Drive a culture of safety on the project site
• Support acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations
• Provide leadership to foster inclusion and diversity
