Senior Project Manager

Milwaukee, WI area

$145,000 - $165,000 annually

Responsibilities

Lead large, multifaceted construction projects from concept through completion—ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance are achieved.

Actively engage on job sites, support teams, solve problems in real time, and help shape how work gets delivered.

Serve as a trusted partner to clients and mentor project teams.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered).

Experience

• 10 or more years of experience in construction project management and related functions.
• Experience managing construction projects typically $10M or larger, or multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong background in self‑perform construction with hands‑on understanding.
• Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, or similar core building systems.
• Confidence managing financials, including change orders, budgets, and contract considerations.
• Proven ability to lead teams across multiple sites or scopes.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Field‑first mindset and preference for on‑site work.
• Ability to mentor and develop early‑career project team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience working directly with craft labor and self‑perform crews.
• Background in estimating or preconstruction.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing commercial risk.
• Experience supporting campus‑style or multi‑phase projects.
• Familiarity with industrial or mission‑critical environments.
