Job summary

Flatiron is seeking a Project Manager to lead a single high‑impact construction project from start to finish, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, and alignment with owner expectations. The role requires robust budgeting, scheduling, and cross‑functional leadership across engineering and field teams.

You will manage pay estimates, staffing, and subcontractor coordination, while overseeing risk, safety programs, and change orders to protect project margins and schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in construction project management.
• 5+ years’ experience in managing personnel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong interpersonal and delegation skills.
• Excellent reading of contracts and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the project, including construction, budget, and cash management.
• Develops and manages the project schedule, pay estimates, staffing, and equipment.
• Reviews contract documents and resolves specification or scheduling issues with the owner.
• Oversees engineering and scheduling teams; negotiates change orders.
• Leads project closeout, finalizes paperwork, and resolves claims.
• Produces monthly cost and revenue forecasts for leadership.
