Job summary

Caddell Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Commercial markets. The role leads on-site construction, guides project teams, and drives outcomes with a focus on safety, schedule, and budget.

You will collaborate with owners, A/E representatives, and subcontractors to deliver complex projects. Candidates should bring a four-year engineering or construction management degree and extensive PM experience; a high school diploma with 15 years in PM may be offset by the degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma/GED and 15 years experience as a project manager.
• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and 15 years' experience preferred.
• Experience with automation or manufacturing/production remodels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, trains and mentors project managers and superintendents.
• Verifies project estimates for completeness with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, and all contract documents.
• Supervises total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and interfaces with owner, A/E representatives, subcontractors, etc.
• Plans, coordinates and supervises onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control) and provides day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff.
• Provides technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, as required.
• Assumes responsibility for safety, quality and productivity of subcontractors as well as Caddell craft employees.
• Administers financial tracking systems to monitor project costs and forecast the remaining project cost.
