Job summary

Zernco is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Wichita, KS to lead diverse construction projects from inception to completion. You will supervise project managers and coordinators, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, subcontracts administration, and cross-functional coordination with engineers and field teams to deliver exceptional results for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in construction management or related field and at least ten years of experience, or equivalent.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required; first aid/CPR preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, critical path methods, and project controls.
• Knowledge of design/build contracting, building codes, and accounting basics.
• Excellent verbal communication and leadership to manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project managers and coordinators to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Manage client relations, change orders, and revenue capture.
• Prepare and review subcontractors, bids, costs, and invoices for accuracy.
• Coordinate with engineers, subs, and internal teams to meet objectives.
• Forecast resources and maintain seamless communication across offices and field.
