Job summary

Staffmark now hires for a Construction and Project Estimator in Blytheville, AR. This direct-hire role features a Monday–Friday schedule (7 AM–4 PM) and a focus on accurate cost estimates and timely bids.

You will review plans, perform material takeoffs, estimate costs for labor, equipment, and subcontractors, and coordinate with managers and vendors on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or project management.
• Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, specs and documents.
• Experience performing material takeoffs, quantity surveys, and cost estimates.
• Knowledge of concrete construction, foundations, rebar and heavy industrial projects.
• Experience estimating labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and drawings for commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates, cost analyses, bids, and proposals.
• Complete material takeoffs and determine labor, equipment, and material needs.
• Estimate projects involving concrete foundations, rebar, anchors, and structural components.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Monitor progress and compare actual costs against estimates.
