Job summary

EPI Power is seeking a Project Controls Manager - Cost Control & Planning to actively manage project risk and monitor cost, progress, scheduling, and quality. The candidate should be open to relocating for future project needs and able to work six days a week, Monday through Saturday.

The role requires overseeing scheduling, cost reporting, and contract alignment while collaborating closely with project teams and leadership to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction project management, scheduling, or cost controls.
• LEAN principles experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project scheduling, quality control, and reporting requirements
• Create, monitor, and manage project financials and cost reporting
• Ensure project schedule is updated weekly; identify and address long lead items with project leadership
• Review schedule updates and cost projections with project teams
• Understand contract terms to ensure work in progress is within scope; coordinate with project team members
• Collaborate to implement and monitor project quality control programs
• Assess workflows to maximize utilization and initiate process improvements
• Attend and lead regular project meetings
• Assist with preconstruction tasks (e.g., preliminary schedule)
• Partner with project team to achieve project goals
• Maintain positive working relationships across construction teams
• Identify value engineering and scope reduction opportunities within delegated authority
