Job summary

The National Park Service's Denver Service Center seeks a Procurement Analyst to support large-scale design and construction projects nationwide. The role focuses on construction acquisition, contract administration, and pre/post award activities for federal contracts.

You will develop acquisition plans, evaluate proposals, manage modifications and closeouts, conduct market research, and advise program offices on FAR/DFARS compliance.

Qualifications

• 24 semester hours in Business in any combination of the listed disciplines.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field meets the requirement.
• 5 years Federal Government Contracting experience with service requirements.
• 5 years construction contracting experience.
• 3 years architect-engineer services contracting experience.
• Ability to obtain HSPD12 PIV and ethical clearances.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on construction procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Develop acquisition strategies and procurement plans for complex construction projects.
• Conduct market research and prepare solicitation documents (e.g., RFPs, IFBs).
• Evaluate contractor proposals and lead source selection activities.
• Administer contracts, including modifications, claims, and closeouts.
• Provide guidance to program offices on acquisition best practices and compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Analyze procurement data and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and policy interpretations for senior leadership.
