Job summary

You will support site supervision and may handle multiple projects with emphasis on cost control, scheduling, and coordination with subs and suppliers.

The role requires deep reading of plans, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to relocate or travel as needed on larger projects.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Primavera software.
• High school diploma or GED; degree in construction management or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage job cost reporting, track quantities, and prepare status reports.
• Build and maintain project schedules with the team from bid to completion.
• Prepare payment applications, schedule updates, and client status reports.
• Coordinate technical information between customers and the company.
• Negotiate subcontractor and purchase orders; manage changes and proposals.
• Oversee field engineering, planning, cost control, and site supervision as needed.
• Review plans and specifications; communicate revisions and verify conformance.
• Relate contracts to pricing of changes and schedule impacts.
