Job summary

Southern California Edison in Pomona, CA is seeking a Major Construction Senior Project Manager to oversee Substation projects within the IPSEC model, including scoping, budgeting, and execution across multiple initiatives.

This hybrid role requires 10+ years in construction PM, strong contract management, and the ability to lead large teams and coordinate with regulators; occasional travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience structuring, negotiating and managing contracts.
• Experience with environmental agencies in permitting infrastructure projects.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more large, long-term and/or complex projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost/budget, and risk.
• Develops strategy, objectives and initiatives; prepares project schedule and budget; oversees change control.
• Leads a large team of professionals and contractors in major project development and execution.
• Engages with executive and senior management on project milestones and issues.
• Provides project leadership for safety and compliance with standards.
• Oversees project budgets, expenditures and SOX compliance.
• Guides project development including scope, permits, land acquisition, procurement, execution and closeout.
