Job summary

Procon Consulting in the United States is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead design and construction of a new currency production facility at a federal research campus, plus related sites in Washington, DC. You will serve as one of two Construction Project Managers designated as Key Personnel, providing end-to-end project oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related civil, mechanical, electrical, or architectural discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of specialized commercial construction PM experience.
• Proven experience managing complex new construction and major renovations.
• Expert knowledge of construction methods and facility construction activities.
• Experience coordinating with GSA, A/E firms, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Experience developing budgets and tracking costs with schedules in MS Project/Primavera.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for government projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site PM for assigned facility projects, overseeing budget, schedule, and quality.
• Provide full project lifecycle support from preconstruction to closeout.
• Coordinate logistics, value engineering, LEED, FF&E, and inspections.
• Manage office relocations and reconfiguration of existing spaces.
• Develop and monitor budgets, cost estimates, and milestones.
• Review design documents and QA/QC requirements on site.
• Lead meetings with contractors and stakeholders and prepare progress reports.
