Job summary

You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, accounting and field staff to resolve pay questions, maintain tax settings and deductions, and prepare journal entries.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on, full-cycle payroll experience for multi-state employees.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Curiosity to investigate issues and ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Comfort with payroll, accounting, timekeeping, onboarding, and payroll systems.
• Ability to meet recurring weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear, respectful communication with office and field staff.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling payroll data.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle weekly payroll, including time review, overtime, deductions, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, accounting, and field staff to resolve payroll questions.
• Maintain pay rates, multi-state tax settings, deductions, and job data.
• Handle payroll-tax filings, certified payroll, and wage/fringe setup after training.
• Prepare payroll journals and support reconciliations and audits.
• Manage onboarding records, I-9, E-Verify, and benefit deductions.
• Maintain Arcoro onboarding workflows and payroll-related systems.
• Identify recurring errors and propose practical improvements.
