Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our Water Business Group in Arizona. You will lead complex water infrastructure projects, coordinate owners, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

We value experienced leaders with strong people skills, a PE, and hands-on expertise in Procore, Primavera, and Timberline. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix with opportunities to shape critical public works initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or closely related field (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction planning and management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CM software.
  • Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam or similar tools experience.

We are looking for a Senior Construction Manager to join our Water Business Group in Arizona.

In the role of Senior Construction Manager, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Previous experience with water infrastructure construction projects
  • Experience with estimating software (Timberline), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak), and project management software (Prolog)
  • Experience with estimating software, scheduling software, project management software and web-based collaboration software for the exchange of documents

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to construction contracts; document, time, cost, and quality management; change management; and site safety. estimating, bidding, preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Must have strong people skills and the ability to interact with the Owner, Engineer, Contractor and other project stakeholders
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Sponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
