FITS LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for construction services in the Puerto Rico/US market. The role focuses on leading daily construction execution at the PC21 facility, overseeing contractors, safety, quality and productivity. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field with extensive experience, PMP/OSHA 30 preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish. The position requires administrative shift duties and readiness to adapt to project needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
15 years of experience.
PMP, OSHA 30 membership preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
Experience in capital projects, owner, EPCM, or construction management oversight environments.
Responsibilities
Lead daily construction execution for the PC21 facility.
Oversee contractor performance, safety, quality, and productivity.
Monitor field progress against project milestones and schedules.
Conduct site walks, safety audits, and risk mitigation activities.
Ensure compliance with HSE, BeyondZero, and LIFE program requirements.
Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP, Utilities, Equipment, CQV, and Operations.
Review contractor work plans, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
Resolve field issues and support timely decision-making to maintain progress.
Support mechanical completion, punch-list closure, and system turnover readiness.
Partner with Quality and CQV teams to enable efficient commissioning and startup.
