Job summary

Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to support the Facilities Sector in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on improving construction management practices, staff development, and process standardization across multiple infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidate brings extensive horizontal construction management experience, CCM certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate with division heads, project sponsors, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience on horizontal infrastructure projects.
• Licensed professional or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
• Education background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured onboarding sessions with new CMs and Inspectors.
• Assess current CM workflows, procedures, and business practices across infrastructure projects.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve consistency and delivery.
• Develop standardized procedures, guidance documents, checklists, templates, and best practices.
• Evaluate coordination between County staff, consultants, sponsors, and stakeholders to improve execution.
• Lead portfolio reviews with Unit Heads and Project Controls on schedule, budget, changes, risks, milestones.
