Job summary

FITS, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Construction, focused on the PC21 facility. You will lead daily construction execution, oversee contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and progress against milestones.

Ideal candidates hold a construction/engineering degree, 15 years of experience, and bilingual English/Spanish. PMP/OSHA 30 are preferred for this pivotal role in a dynamic, family-oriented service provider environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field with extensive experience.
• PMP and OSHA 30 preferred.
• Bilingual: English & Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction execution for the PC21 facility.
• Oversee contractor performance, safety, quality and productivity.
• Monitor field progress against milestones and schedules.
• Conduct site walks, safety audits, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, BeyondZero, LIFE programs.
• Coordinate interfaces between CSA, MEP, Utilities, CQV and Operations.
• Review contractor work plans, look-ahead schedules and recovery plans.
• Resolve field issues and support timely decision-making to maintain progress.
• Support mechanical completion, punch-list closure and system turnover readiness.
• Partner with Quality and CQV teams to enable commissioning and startup.
