Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction activities to maximize productivity and adhere to schedules.
• Develop contingency and recovery plans as needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and utilization, providing strategies for continuous improvement.
• Apply knowledge of construction techniques and equipment to develop strategies ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Innovate solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity.
• Manage all on-site functions according to company policies and procedures.
• Develop procedures and liaise between project managers, construction teams, and contractors.
• Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with safety policies, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Oversee general contractor’s subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience as a Construction Manager in industrial construction or maintenance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Professional Engineering certification preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
