Habitat Broward seeks a Construction Manager to lead all residential construction activities in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate permits, schedules, and inspections, and uphold safety and quality across sites. Strong leadership and field management skills are essential.

The role requires extensive experience in construction management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with diverse teams to deliver affordable housing on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction management.
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Primavera, Procore, and/or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction staff and volunteers to deliver safe, affordable homes.
• Coordinate building plans, permits, inspections, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and Habitat Broward requirements.
• Provide weekly updates to leadership and ensure quality control on sites.
