A specialized construction firm is seeking a Construction Inspector to perform inspections and ensure compliance on federal facilities' construction projects. The selected candidate will have strong experience in welding, coating, and bolting inspections, alongside qualifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector and relevant certifications. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with construction welding inspections, 2 years with coating inspections and structural bolting.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector with minimum of five years experience.
• Nondestructive testing personnel qualified to ASNT.
• NACE Level I or SSPC Protective Coatings Inspector Level 1 or higher.
• Experience with Three-Phase QC/Inspection process.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on compliance with plans and specifications.
• Perform and oversee welding, coating, and bolting inspections.
• Provide recommendations to government personnel regarding constructions.
• Monitor contractor quality systems and schedules.
• Review QA and safety plans.
