About the Position: GPTech is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Inspector (CI) to support construction and facilities projects in the State of Maryland. The Senior Construction Inspector will provide onsite construction inspection, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), technical oversight, and contract management support throughout project execution. The Senior Construction Inspector will serve as a client technical representative, working closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), contractors, project management teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to verify that construction activities comply with contract requirements, approved plans and specifications, applicable building codes, quality standards, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on construction QA experience in Maryland, strong knowledge of local trade capabilities, and experience of overseeing multiple trades and construction contracts. Experience with large-scale energy infrastructure, industrial facilities, and projects involving electrical, mechanical, or related systems is highly preferred.
This is a full-time, onsite position in Maryland for the duration of the project. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation/security clearance.
