Responsibilities

As the Senior Construction Inspector, you will coordinate and conduct on-site inspections of public improvement construction, including streets, water, sewer, sidewalks, and drainage, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and specifications. This includes inspecting construction activities within city rights-of-way and certain private improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years of public works construction project experience, including supervisory duties

OR

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One year of college or trade school related to drafting, surveying, utility construction, or a related technical field
• Minimum four (4) years of public works construction project experience, with at least two (2) years in a responsible inspector role within a municipality
